Equi-Power is an award-winning independent charity and member group of the Riding for the Disabled Association serving Central Scotland.
We believe in the power of horses to transform lives! Our therapeutic and competitive activities are for children and adults with additional support needs.
Based on a quiet livery yard in Sauchenford, we provide a safe and welcoming environment for people of all ages and abilities to experience the benefits of being around horses. Our activities are known to improve physical and emotional wellbeing and promote skills development. Most importantly of all, we have fun!

We provide riding, equestrian vaulting, horse care, dementia-friendly and inclusive family fun sessions, and other equine-assisted activities that promote physical and emotional wellbeing, boost confidence and reduce isolation.
Our activities are delivered in a safe, welcoming environment, and can be tailored to individual or group needs.
Volunteers are a vital part of the team and there is a role for everyone, from helping with sessions and horse care to fundraising, events and professional support.
Our volunteers tell us they get as much out of the experience as the participants they support.

We rely on fundraising and the generosity of donors and funders to help cover our costs.
