After the highs of our vaulters on the Friday we were equally if not more nervous for our riders on the Saturday. It’s a huge, overwhelming environment at Hartpury and we have not competed at National level before and really did not know what to expect. 

After a fantastic effort by Lizzie in the Countryside Challenge where it was all just a little bit too much in the heat, Lizzie bravely rallied to take 8th place in their large dressage class. With teammate Skye then coming 4th in the class the tone was set for the day! In the Countryside Challenge arena, Jamie then took 7th place in a huge class of 25 riders, with Skye just pipping him to 6th.  

To achieve top ten placings in a National Championship is outstanding, huge congratulations to all our riders.  Memories for life to take home and celebrate.
